Bio... Free To Be Me

To Have a Voice and Be Heard

I wrote this during the lockdown, feeling it was the right time to share, heal and support others that were going through a trauma. I wanted to have a voice and be heard. I was a victim of Domestic Violence and writing this book give me closure to be able to let go of the past and finally be free to be me.

To inspire and motivate others that there is life after a trauma.

To feel proud of how far you have come. To let go of the control, fear, and guilt that someone else has put on us.

That you do not have to be a victim, you are strong, powerful and braver than you think. You are a Survivor.

I am also a Hypnotherapist, Angelic Reiki Healer and Bereavement and Grief Counsellor which have given me the tools to heal over time. Time is the greatest healer. Never give up for you are amazing.

The Real Story

June 2021

An inspirational, motivational book about a mother and her two children who had a perfect family life on the outside.

A husband who was charismatic and charming with a successful business and lifestyle.

But behind closed doors life was very different with a change of personality and behaviour, our lives changed overnight.

I discovered my husband was a Heroin Addict.

As I filed for divorce, this took us on a darker, deeper journey of violence, abuse and rape .Which led to being held hostage in my home and then being taken to a refuge for safety and protection .Leaving our family and friends behind and having to start a new life, with a new identity .

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO BE WHAT YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE...

Please listen to my interview with Kate Delaney from Radio America.

Talking about my book LOSING MY IDENTITY.

After being a domestic violence victim I never gave up and was always determined to have my life back .For my children to feel loved, safe and protected and for all of us to have our freedom. To have our independence and personnel space.

When everything is taken away from you overnight, due to one night of violence you have to believe ,have faith ,be strong and determined that you can and you will live again and be that person you always wanted to be...
